According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, total time for cleanup was four hours, omitting regrading slope due to wet conditions.

A tractor trailer transporting cat litter has overturned resulting in the closure of one SR 111 Bypass southbound lane, west of Moutrie.
The load is being manually transferred to another truck and will require considerable time to complete. Delays are expected and motorists are urged to avoid the area. Schools with buses using that corridor have been notified.
Accident cleanup began around 2 pm and is expected to continue for the next 4 hours.
