Leon County, Florida - April 20, 2012 -
One person is dead and two others are left in serious condition after after a vehicle crash on US-27.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver of a PT Cruiser, 20-year-old Lecia Marie Dutton Decambra, was traveling westbound on US-27 with two passengers around 3:45am on April 20. For unknown reasons, the vehicle traveled off of the roadway and onto the grass median. The vehicle then over-corrected, traveling back across the roadway and into the ditch on the north shoulder of US-27 where it then overturned after impact.
Lecia Marie Dutton Decambra was pronounced dead on the scene. The two passengers, Michelle Dutton Show, 44, and Christopher Steven Show, 39 were both taken to Tallahassee Memorial with serious injuries.
According to the report, no one in the car was wearing a seat belt.
Lacy Decambra was a graduate of Lincoln High School. She was also employed at the McDonald's on Apalachee Parkway.
