Pedestrian Injured in Jefferson County Crash
Jefferson County, Florida- September 10, 2012
On September 10, at 9:45 am, a collision occurred between a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Laticia Ann Slaughter, 32, of Perry, Florida was driving a 2011 Honda UT, northbound on US 27. The UT was traveling in the outside lane, and crossed the lane edge line striking a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was Carol Hernandez, age 35, also of Perry, Florida. Hernandez had been walking in the paved shoulder area off the highway. She has been transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital and is listed in serious condition.
FHP reported to the scene and Jefferson County EMS and Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
