Valdosta, GA - September 15, 2011 --

The Utilities Department will perform an emergency water repair at 2604 Eager Road, today, Sept. 15, beginning at 11:45 p.m., weather permitting. This repair is going to require the closure of Eager Road/Jerry Jones Drive, from Berkley Drive to Gornto Road. Eager Road/Jerry Jones Drive is anticipated to re-open on Friday, Sept. 16, by 7 a.m., or as soon as the job is complete.

Traffic control devices will be in place to inform motorist approaching these areas during the repair, and traffic will be detoured appropriately. Local residents will have access to and from their homes. Motorists are urged to use caution when driving around this area.
