Tallahassee, Florida -- April 4, 2011
Blueprint 2000 has scheduled a Public Information Meeting regarding improvements to Capital Circle Southeast from Woodville Highway to Crawfordville Road. This project is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
Improvements for this portion of Capital Circle Southeast include widening the existing two-lane undivided rural road to a seven-lane urban facility. The 1.15 mile project will add curb and gutter, a sidewalk, a meandering trail, bicycle lanes, a landscaped median and border, as well as significant stormwater improvements.
The Public Meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Blueprint 2000 conference room in the SunTrust Bank Building, 2727 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, Florida. The purpose of this meeting is to provide the community with information related to the construction phases and activities for this project. Visual displays and construction plans will be available for review.
There will be no formal presentation, members of the Blueprint 2000 project team along with the contractor and design team (C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. and Greenhorne & O’Mara, Inc.) will be available at this meeting to answer your questions.
