Tallahassee, Florida - September 20, 2011 -

To facilitate the installation of crosswalks and the completion of shared-road facility markings for bicycles, Gaines Street will experience scattered nighttime closures for the remainder of the week, Tuesday through Saturday. Work will be done on crosswalks at the intersections of Gaines and Adams streets, Gaines and Duval streets, and Gaines and Bronough streets. Shared-road markings are being installed between Macomb and Adams streets. Work will take place each night from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Flagmen will be present to direct traffic. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and expect minor delays. Detour routes will be posted if a full closure is required.
