The obstruction on Centerville Road has been cleared and the road is now open for travel, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.

Centerville Road at Hillgate and Woodgate is closed due to a large tree and powerlines on the roadway. City workers are attempting to remove the tree at this time, and the road is expected to be closed for several hours. Centerville Road between Blairstone Road and Miccosukee Road is closed to both eastbound and westbound traffic.

Commuters should use an alternate route.
