Temporary Lane Closures for Lafayette Street and Magnolia Drive Intersection Project

Leon County Public Works and Community Development has announced the closure of two lanes as part of construction involved in the intersection improvement project at Lafayette Street and Magnolia Drive.

The right-turn-only lane on Magnolia Drive that heads southbound is now closed. Also closed is the inside left-turn lane on Apalachee Parkway at the Magnolia Drive intersection. It will be closed for installation of a stormwater inlet and curb work associated with improvements to the intersection of Lafayette Street and Magnolia Drive. Traffic will still be able to turn south onto Magnolia using one left-turn lane. Both lanes are scheduled to be closed through Friday, March 30.

Construction for the overall Lafayette Street and Magnolia Drive project is scheduled through late May.
