Tallahassee, Florida - September 23, 2011 -
Lane closures will take place in alternating lanes at five intersections Monday, Sept. 26, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. The lane closures will allow City of Tallahassee contractors to replace roadway sensors for red light cameras. Intersections affected are:
· Tennessee Street and Capital Circle NW,
· Tennessee Street at Ocala Road,
· Capital Circle NE at Killearn Center Boulevard,
· Capital Circle SE at Apalachee Parkway and
· Apalachee Parkway at Magnolia Drive
Lane closures will also occur in the southbound center lane of Capital Circle NE between Wednesday Street and Lonnbladh Road Tuesday, Sept. 27, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. while Blakenship Contracting workers raise existing manholes.
The City of Tallahassee is also paving Sandhurst Drive. The southbound outside lane of Thomasville Road at Sandhurst Drive will be closed Monday, Sept. 26 through Friday, Sept. 30, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., while crews pave the roadway.
Motorists are reminded to use caution while traveling through the work zones.
