Madison County Sheriff's Office Release
Madison County, FL - Madison County Sheriff Ben Stewart reports that on Wednesday the 23rd day of January, 2013 at 12:39 PM, a Sheriff’s Deputy attempted a traffic stop on US 90 for a traffic infraction. The vehicle was a 1996 green Ford 2 door, occupied by only the driver and was traveling in an easterly direction.

A second Deputy had positioned himself at this intersection and deployed a tire deflation device. However the driver briefly stopped as the Deputy un-holstered his firearm and ordered the driver to exit the vehicle.
