Chipley – The westbound outside lane of U.S. 90 from New Bethel AME Church to Hilltop Drive in Gadsden County will be closed from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, Monday, March 11 through Saturday, March 16 to allow trucks to enter and exit the project site.
The speed limit on U.S. 90 is 45 mph, violations double when workers are present. Drivers are cautioned to use extra care when traveling through the construction zones on U.S. 90 and State Road 12.
Construction activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather. Motorists are reminded to obey the posted speed limit when traveling through the work zone and to watch for construction equipment and workers entering and exiting the roadway.
