Madison County, Florida- August 9, 2012

An accident occurred on I-10 yesterday. Troopers say a semi truck was merging onto I-10 when a Toyota van hit the semi from behind.

The westbound lanes were closed for approximately one hour to remove the semi's jackknifed trailer from the roadway. No one suffered any major injuries. The driver of the van was ticketed for careless driving.
