Tallahassee, Florida -- March 15, 2011 -- 11am --

Tallahassee firefighters had to use the jaws of life to get a driver out of an overturned vehicle this morning.

It happened around 9am on Golden Eagle Drive.

Deputies say the 22-year-old woman ran off the road, hitting a brick pillar, causing the car to roll onto its passenger side.

Firefighters had to cut the roof off of the vehicle to get the woman out.
She suffered only minor injures and was not cited in the incident.

But you are correct in saying law neforcement cannot write non-criminal citations in private gated communities with the exception I mentioned.

Can'tDrive55, Law Enforcement CAN issue non-criminal citations in a private gated community IF the private community has a written agreement with the Law Enforcement to do so. Lake Tallavanna in Gadsden County is a private gated community and they have a written agreement whereby I issued non-criminal citations in there. Went to traffic court and WON.

The reason she was not cited is that it is private property. Golden Eagle is a private gated community and law enforcement cannot issue non-criminal traffic infractions on any private property.

It's not likely a citation will be issued; not to a resident of Golden Eagle. Daddy or "Daddy" will make sure it doesn't happen.

Ikadod. Another person that did not read the article. It plainly states that the car hit a pillar, and that the pillar caused the car to turn over. She may have over-corrected, but this did not cause her to turn over according to the article. Also if you watch the video, the car was right next to the road and just about parallel to the road. If she had over corrected causing her to roll, it would be very hard for the car to end up where it was.
