An SUV plows into a Mexican restaurant in Tallahassee just before the lunch hour rush.

The Acura crashed into the outside seating area of El Jalisco this morning.

Tallahassee firefighters say the SUV was traveling on Bradford Road when it lost control and came across Monroe Street.

The SUV collided with another car, skidded across the restaurant parking lot, and then crashed into the patio.

Jorge Vargas, an El Jalisco employee, says, "I heard a loud noise coming from the accident outside. We had three or four vehicles into the accident. It scared the helll out of me, but I'm still alive. It was pretty, pretty scary."

Firefighters say no one inside of the restaurant was hurt. We're told the drivers of the SUV and the car were taken to the hospital. Their identities nor their conditions have been released.

This was so unbelivable just to sit at the light in see this vehicle out of control looked like a T.V.seen. My prayer is so with the family of both vehicles special the lady who lost control im really believing it was a medical condition.

We decided to eat lunch there and saw the aftermath. If that place was crowded, a few people would have been seriously injured. BTW, No illegal aliens were harmed amongst the ciaos.

If it wasn't medical, I would imagine they thought they were late for something important and had to talk on the phone while putting on their makeup and buttoning up their blouse. Was it really that important?

Crossed a parking lot and a busy five-lane road? That's one heck of a losing control. I'm wondering if it was an elderly driver who kept pushing the skinny brake pedal on the right. I'm wondering when local business will, as a matter of safety and insurance, start installing crash bollards like you find protecting things like jewelry stores. Heck, I'd consider it if my house was at the "business end" of a T intersection, since those seem to be prime targets.

So True. But when the Brogan closes its doors, a lot of those High Priced Restaurants will close down too.

Andrews was there LONG before the Brogan. It'll be there afterward, too.

Just goes to show the age group of the idiots that post on here the majority of the time. If Finnagans were to close they would say that chez pierre would follow.

Why is it that you assume that there is drinking involved? As a responder who goes to lots of car wrecks, I can say that the strong majority do not involve alcohol.
