Super Tuesday brought the Leon County Republicans together to watch the results as polls closed around the nation. The local party members were very optimistic, but also very anxious. Many of them believed it would be a deciding night. At Andrew's Bar and Grill downtown, there was about twenty from the party. We asked a few what their thoughts were on the Super Tuesday primary.

Dan Abel, Chairman with the Leon County Republican Party said, "I think tonight could be the last day. We could have a nominee after tonight. I mean, most of the country is voting tonight, so it's very possible this is it."

Barbara Brown, a memeber with the party said, "I'm feeling really bad that Huckabee hasn't bowed out because I don't think he has a chance and I think he's taking a lot of votes from Romney."

Although some the Leon County Republican Party members have their favorites, many are confident that whoever wins the candidacy will beat the democrats in November.
