Security is High For Democratic Convention

The Democratic Convention begins this week in Denver and security is beefed up all over the state.

Police presence is visible just about everywhere you look in downtown Denver.

Officers have surrounded the Pepsi Center which will play home to the D-N-C this week.

Anyone going to the arena will be checked for credentials.

The are also police dressed in riot gear along the arena's perimeter. Speeches and the opening ceremony of the convention begin Monday night at 7:00 eastern.
