Hearing to Remove Kilpatrick From Office

Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm will hold a historic hearing next week to decide whether Kwame Kilpatrick will be removed from office.

The Detroit mayor is charged with 10 felonies in two criminal cases.

Granholm does have constitutional authority to remove an elected official from office for misconduct.

The September 3rd hearing will be held in Detroit.
