Boulware and his team celebrated at Old Town Cafe Tuesday night, where they were extremely happy to be on top of the State House District 9 primary. The former FSU and NFL player and current businessman came out with 84 percent and his opponent, Jerry Sutphin with 16 percent. Even former fellow FSU player Corey Simon stopped by to congratulate him.
However, Boulware said he is both anxious and excited to get started on the November election campaign. "I've learned in life that you can control the things you can control and that's hard work and that's going out there and doing what we can do. And hopefully at the end of the day the election will take care of itself. So yeah, we have some jitters, but we're going to get out there, beat the street, meet people and hopefully that will take care of itself." said Boulware.
Representative Loranne Ausley term limited out for house district nine. The district includes parts of Gadsden, Jefferson, and Leon Counties.
