For Republicans and Democrats, they're each extremely excited about their candidates. A crowd of Republicans got together at Clydes and Costellos in downtown Tallahassee where they watched the debate on a big screen.

We also caught up with some Sarah Palin fans at the Comedy Zone. Many say she understands the issues affecting American families: the economy, foreign policy and other issues. For them -- they say Thursday night's debate allowed Palin to show the country exactly what she's made of.

Jeanette Yaeger, a strong Palin supporter said, "I think she's about as strong a character I've seen on the campaign trail. It's really exciting to see a woman out there with values, home values. I have a new child, so it's really exciting for me to see a mother and be able to connect with her."

On the Democratic side, you could feel the anticipation in the air leading up to the debate at Paradigm in downtown Tallahassee. The Joe Biden supporters say Americans are ready for strong leaders and Biden is a great contributor to a strong ticket with Barrack Obama. They also say it's his abilities can be proven by his record alone.

Rick Minor, the Leon County Democratic Party leader said, "Senator Biden brings a wealth of experience to the presidential ticket. He's been in the Congress and the Senate for thirty years. He knows, he's got an encyclopedia knowledge of every single domestic and foreign policy topic."

There will be more chances to see the two sides face off again--including the town hall style presidential candidate debate next Tuesday at Belmont University in Tennessee.
