Applicants For First District Court of Appeal

The Florida Bar announced that thirty-one people have applied for the open position on the first district court of appeal.
Of the thirty-one applicants, four are from Jacksonville and three are from Pensacola... but the vast majority... 19 applicants are from Tallahassee.
A position on the first DCA opened when Governor Charlie Crist appointed former DCA judge Ricky Polston to the Florida Supreme Court.
The Judicial Nominating Commission will conference on Saturday to determine which applicants will be interviewed.
The district includes the entire Florida panhandle.
The applicants include the following people:
