CAPE CORAL, Fla. (AP) --

The 19-year-old Edison State College student told Obama on Tuesday that he had worked at McDonald's for more than four years because he couldn't find another job. Julio Osegueda asked whether he'd receive better benefits in the economic stimulus bill the Senate passed Tuesday.

The president commended Osegueda for working at a job that "I know doesn't always pay as well as some other jobs."

Osegueda told CBS' "Early Show" Wednesday that Obama's sincerity inspired him. The communications major also said a radio station offered him an internship and a local baseball team owner wants him to broadcast the home opener in April.
