TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) _ Florida Agriculture Commissioner
Charles Bronson says he plans to run for governor if Gov. Charlie
Crist runs for the U.S. Senate.
Bronson told The Associated Press Tuesday that indications are
getting stronger that Crist will run for the Senate seat Republican
Mel Martinez is leaving after one term.
And if that's the case, Bronson said he will run for governor.
Bronson, a Republican, has served two terms as commissioner and
can't seek a third because of term limits.
While he won't open a campaign account until Crist announces his
plans, Bronson is starting to call supporters to let them know his
