BAGHDAD (AP) President Barack Obama is heading back to
Washington.

Air Force One with the president aboard left Baghdad Tuesday
afternoon.

Obama spent under five hours in the Iraq war zone, his first
visit there as president.

He met with the top U.S. commander there and with Iraqi Prime
Minister Nouri al-Maliki (NOO'-ree ahl-MAHL'-ih-kee).

Obama addressed hundreds of U.S. troops stationed at Camp
Victory, the largest U.S. military facility in the country.

The unannounced visit to Baghdad capped an eight-day
international trip in which Obama traveled to Britain, France,
Germany, the Czech Republic and Turkey.

The president is due back in Washington late Tuesday night.
