The Grand Jury in the case of Former House Speaker Ray Sansom reconvened this morning (4/17)...and just before noon decided to indict him for official misconduct.
The grand jury heard testimony yesterday for over eight hours and then deliberated for nearly another hour before calling it a night.
State Attorney Willie Meggs had said the panel would review paperwork before announcing its decision.
Again, that came down this morning an indictment for official misconduct.
Sansom is under the gun for directing $35 million to Northwest Florida College and then taking a high paying job at the same university.
