Tallahassee, Florida - June 20, 2012 -

Today, the Big Bend Chapter of the Florida Police Benevolent Association announced its political endorsements for the Big Bend area. These candidates have shown their support and commitment to the law enforcement community and will serve the public well as public servants.

Congressional District 2: Al Lawson

State Attorney Circuit 2: Pete Williams

Circuit Judge, Circuit 2, Group 2: Josefina Tamayo

Florida Senate District 3: Bill Montford

Florida House District 7: Don Curtis, Republican; Robert Hill, Democrat

Florida House District 9: Michelle Rehwinkel Vasilinda

Leon County Commission, At-Large, Group 1: Akin Akinyemi

Tallahassee City Commission, Seat 2: Andrew Gillum

Liberty County Sheriff: Donnie E. Conyers

The PBA encourages its members, their families and all voters who support law enforcement to elect the above candidates to public office.
