Tallahassee, Fla. - Republican Candidate Bradley Maxwell today announced he received the endorsement of the Florida Medical Association (FMA) for Florida House District 9, which includes Leon County.

“If elected, I look forward to having the opportunity to work with the members of the Florida Medical Association to address health policy issues affecting Floridians,” said Maxwell.

“My campaign volunteers and I have visited more than 12,000 doors in Leon County, and we have heard that the voters want their doctors protected and able to give them the care that they need,” said Maxwell. “The doctors I have spoken to want a stable system to practice in, and want to give their patients the best care in the world.”

"As a small business owner and a father, Bradley Maxwell has a unique understanding of the difficulties Floridians face in finding access to affordable, quality health care," said John Katopodis, FMA PAC President. "Bradley is committed to the FMA's efforts to make Florida the best place in the nation to practice medicine, and that is good for patients and the physicians who provide their care. The FMA PAC is proud to endorse his candidacy."

Bradley Maxwell was born and raised in the Big Bend. After graduating from Florida State University, he settled in Tallahassee where he is raising three children with his wife, Sarah. Bradley is a small business owner and attends Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church. As a small business owner, Bradley Maxwell believes individuals and families should determine their own needs.
