A new proposal in Leon County would ban offensive images on contractor vehicles, equipment, and uniforms.
Leon County Commissioners voted on the controversial issue at this afternoon's meeting.
Ultimately, Commissioners voted down the proposal; Commissioner Bill Proctor was the only one to vote in favor of it.
This all stemmed from a construction project on Lafayette Street.
Two business owners said not only did the construction hurt business, but so did the Confederate flags posted on the construction vehicles.
