The forum being held at the Monroe Street Conference Center. Under the format for this debate, each candidate has three minutes to introduce themselves. They will then be asked four prepared questions and each candidate has one minute to respond. If there's time, they will take a question or two from the audience. Then the candidates will each have a minute to give their closing remarks. Afterwards, NEBA will do a straw poll among its members.

Why do people keep coming on here talking about Sheriff Larry Campbell? He has given this community three decades of wonderful service. Sure it is time for him to retire, but please show some respect for a man who has served this community. Let him step down with dignity. He knows its time for him to go, but its like all of the great fighters.... They never leave on their own!

I saw clips for the NEBA forum for the Sheriff's race on the news. These forums are important. They let you see officials who need to retire, like Larry Campbell, and those who needs to keep their job, like Akin!

The word is need, not needs. Please don't post on here and force people to read what looks like 3rd grade English. But yes, King Larry Campbell needs to go.

My God, I look at these choices and realize that I MUST leave the South if I'm going to be able to keep the money I work hard for. How embarrassing to have a slate of candidates such as this. Lib-Lib-Lib-Lib. That's some choice.
