Members of Tallahassee Professional Firefighters Union Endorse Maddox

A new endorsement in the race for Tallahassee City Commission, Seat One. Members of the Tallahassee Professional Firefighters Union announced they are supporting former mayor Scott Maddox for the seat.

Eyewitness News was told the firefighters for the firefighter union interviewed all of the candidates for seat one except for one before making the endorsement.

In addition to the endorsement, Bedford tells us his union has donated $500 to the Maddox campaign, the maximum allowed by law. The firefighters say they have also interviewed candidates for Seat Two on the city commission, currently held by Andrew Gilliam. They have not made an endorsement in that race yet.
