TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ------- Sept. 17 2012
Not everyone came out to support First Lady Michelle Obama in Tallahassee Monday.
The Republican Party of Florida issued a statement today. They claim Michelle Obama was in the Capital City because the administration knows it's falling behind Mitt Romney in the state.
Kristen McDonald, RPOF press secretary, sent this statement hours before the first lady spoke at the civic center.
“With visits by both the President and First Lady this week, the Obama campaign is clearly targeting Florida. They know it’s a must win and they know they are behind. Floridians are frustrated with President Obama’s dismal economic record and long list of broken promises. Mitt Romney on the other hand has a real plan to strengthen the middle class and get America working again. Under his leadership, Americans will have a brighter a future.”
Mitt Romney will campaign in southern Florida later this week.
