Sen. John McCain in Tallahassee Today [SLIDE SHOW]

Tallahassee, FL - Tune in to WCTV Eyewitness News at 5, 5:30, and 6 pm for our coverage of Senator McCain's Tallahassee visit.

Tallahassee, FL - Senator McCain says Romney must win Florida.

He was the Republican Party presidential nominee four years ago.
Today, Senator John McCain came to Tallahassee to campaign for this year's nominee, Mitt Romney.

As many folks may recall, Senator McCain is a Navy veteran who was a prison of war in Vietnam. Today, he spoke to local veterans. It comes on the day of the first presidential debate between President Obama and Governor Romney, before November's election .


Tallahassee, FL - WCTV Reporter Mike Springer is at the Legion this afternoon to see Senator John McCain as he stops in Tallahassee to speak on behalf of "Veterans for Romney".

People have already started heading inside American Legion Post to hear Sen. McCain speak in about an hour.

A handful of protesters can be seen rallying outside American Legion where Sen. McCain is expected to speak.

Tallahassee, FL

Senator John McCain will visit Tallahassee today, Wednesday, October 3rd. He'll be at the American Legion on Lake Ella Drive as part of a Veterans for Romney Meet and Greet. Doors open at 11am, and the event begins at 11:30 am.

The Romney Florida team has also organized a watch party for the Obama v Romney debate. The watch party will kick off at 8 pm tonight at Po’ Boys Creole Café, located at 224 East College Avenue in Tallahassee.

WCTV will have coverage of McCain's Tallahassee stop throughout the day.

On October 3rd, Senator John McCain will arrive to Tallahassee for a Meet and Greet with "Veterans for Romney".

The event will take place at The American Legion located at 229 Lake Ella Drive, Tallahassee, FL 32303. The community is invited to attend.

Doors Open 11:00 AM and the event begins 11:30 AM
