Gadsden County Hospital Clears Senate Hurdle

Representative Alan Williams has confirmed that the Gadsden County hospital bill is headed to the Governor for his signature which could take place within the next week.

The bill passed the Senate this week after clearing the House last week. If Governor Crist signs the bill, it would extend the currently inactive license for the hospital so they can continue making preparations for the opening of the hospital.

Had it not happened, they would have been in a situation where their license would have expired and would have needed to convince ACHA to give them another license.

Maggie, your words have power. Be careful how you use them. Stupidly does not deserve reward, but a three year old suffering an asthma attack does not deserve death. If there is no healthcare here, it is 45min commute to Tallahassee for that child to get help. We need a hospital.

It is the Commissioners fault it got to this point. I hope Gov Crist doesn't sign it. Stupidity does not deserve reward.
