Alex Sink's Message to Florida Democrats

Orlando, Fl. --

Alex Sink is telling Democrats she's not going away.

Sink, who narrowly lost her bid for governor in November, told party activists at a meeting in Orlando Saturday that she's going to be beside them as they work to regain ground in 2012.

Afterward, the former bank president said she wanted to start a nonpartisan policy institute to conduct research on ways to help small businesses and entrepreneurs. The former state chief financial officer said there are conservative think tanks that do research and promote policy, but Florida would benefit from an organization that takes a more moderate approach.

She also said she won't rule out running for office again if the right opportunity comes up.

It'sfunny when a democrat wins by a narrow margin it's called a landslide victory. When they loose it's a narrow margin or very close race. I closed my small buisness due to the increase in fees, insurance and constant cost of licenses. Each time an inspector would drop by each one had a differnt view of policy and procedure that the state mandates. In order to get the proper paperwork you had to pay a membership fee and order materials in order to comply with state and local ordinance. Now she wants to help??? It's funny when they loose they now want to help.

It was moderate and liberal thinking that made the regulations that allowed loans to be made to those who otherwise would not have been qualified. Now we have financial institutions toppling and rampant foreclosures. Yet Sink advocates more of the same? Didn't vote for her and won't vote for her.....

Hey Alex, you're a liberal and you lost. Strange how liberals always classify folks as "conservatives" and "moderates". Why are they so ashamed to call themselves what they are? Maybe Alex should go away for awhile and take voice lessons, then she could learn to properly pronounce words like "home".
