(Quick and easy for the kids, too!)
1 box of gluten free 2 layer yellow cake mix *
1 bag of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
1 cup of creamy peanut butter
4-5 cups confectioners' sugar
1/2 - 3/4 cup milk
Combine cake mix according to directions and pour batter into a lightly greased 9 x 13 pan. Unwrap the peanut butter cups and place randomly in cake batter. Lightly spread cake batter over peanut butter cups. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Cool completely. For frosting, cream together 1 cup of any gluten free peanut butter and 1/2 cup milk. Slowly add 3 cups of confectioners' sugar. After mixing well, add another cup of confectioners' sugar. To achieve desired consistency, you may add additional milk and 1 more cup sugar. Spread frosting on cooled cake.
*My favorite is King Arthur Flour.
