1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup water
1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 (12-ounce) package fresh cranberries
1 tablespoon orange rind
½ cup chopped fresh oranges
1. Combine first 8 ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat; bring to a boil.
2. Reduce heat, and simmer 12 minutes or until cranberries burst and mixture is slightly thickened, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; stir in rind and oranges.
3.Cool completely. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Yield: 12 servings (2 tablespoons) 55 calories; 13 grams Carbohydrate
