Valdosta, GA - Valdosta State University held its annual Study Abroad Fair on campus today.
More than twenty countries were represented ranging from Spain to Senegal. Food from the various countries was also served giving students 'a taste' of what to expect. The programs were available in almost every field of study including business, history and political science.
Natalie Tanner went to London and Germany for her study abroad: "Being in a place that's just not your native land I guess is so different. You know you kind of get the hang of it after a while, I mean I would say after maybe like two months it just starts feeling like home and then it's like home starts feeling like a foreign land. So when you come back you kind of get like a reverse culture shock cause you're gone for so long."
The building where the fair took place was transformed into a map of the world to showcase what each of the twenty countries had to offer.
