Police Chase Suspect Near Gretchen Everhart School

Tallahassee, Fla. -- The Leon County Sheriff's Office spokesman says deputies were trying to arrest a man in the 2900 block of Mission Road when he took off running.

The man was wanted for violating his probation. Deputies were not able to locate him.

Deputies say Gretchen Everhart School was on lockdown, but it is not anymore.


Tallahassee, Fla. -- WCTV has just learned of police activity in the area near Gretchen Everhart School.

Leon County School's spokesperson, Chris Petley, says that as of right now, the school is not on lockdown status.
