Tallahassee FL- People in the Big Bend were slapping on their skates and hitting the ice today in Tallahassee.
Every year Tallahassee puts down some plastic in Kleman Plaza and coats it with this slick material that makes it feel like ice. So it doesn't melt, but has a similar effect.
Tallahassee Parks and Recreation representative, Ronald Burnett, said "It's a joy for me to work the ice skating rink to see the smiles on the faces of not just the children but the parents-- the whole family. So, it's a family experience when they come out here."
The "Ice Skating Rink" will be open until January fifth.
