Quarterback Chelsea Parmer shined on the football field during high school, and even though she's graduated, she hasn't stopped playing.

"I wanted to stay involved. Even when I graduated I started coaching at Leon. It was my favorite sport in High School and we had a lot of success, and I think that played a part in me continuing to want to be out here."

As a member of the Tallahassee Terror, filling a leadership role as a player is one thing-

"Terror on three... 1,2,3, Terror!"

-but adding coach to her resume is whole new challenge-

"I try to set a good example out here and It's weird because I'm kinda a player coach now, and luckily you know I think I do have the respect from the girls, that I can transition in those different roles." adds Parmer.

And even though her leadership now resides on and off the field- she looks at it as one in the same.

"You're use to being out there and playing and looking up to a coach, but then it's also the same because on the field your quarterback is always kind of that leader and Ive always kind of been that coach on the field"

Parmer is excited to take her team down to Nationals on August 14th,

"I'm looking forward to continuing to coach the younger group and to play again. It's going to be a lot of fun." says Parmer.

And adding AAU National Champions to her resume.
