She's Got Game : FAMU Women's Basketball
FAMU football coach Joe Taylor had a ton of pressure to turn the Rattlers into a winning program again in just his first season with the Orange & Green...
FAMU Women's basketball coach LeDawn Gibson has the same task.
So far, so good.

Whoever said the FAMU Lady Rattlers would struggle in year 1 with the new coach, was obviously mistaken.
Freshman Guard Antonia Bennett said, "Everyone has adapted and are learning from what the coaches tell us."
At (4-2) on the year, the squad which consists of 4 seniors, 2 juniors, 1 sophomore, and 4 freshmen, was predicted to finish just 8th in an 11-team conference.
Here we are, the ladies are in a 3-way tie for first place in the MEAC.
Sure the season is still young, but Saturday's thrilling win over Bethune Cookman has the good vibes flowing.
Bennett says, "We are playing well and that'll help us for the tough games toward the end."
Now the schedule will get tough quickly as Coach Gibson leads her team to non-conference battles Friday at Florida, and Wednesday the 17th at Alabama.
But don't expect these MEAC Got Gamers to back down from any SEC opponent.
Senior Guard Deidra Jones says, "We gotta learn that we gotta play every game through to the last buzzer."
