It's time to give you the holiday progress report on the area's collegiate female hoopsters..

'Tis the season for holiday hoops.
Coach Sue Semrau has her Lady Noles near the top of the tree once again. While the ACC play is still weeks away, the Garnet & Gold have handed out lumps of coal to 9 teams so far this year en route to a (9-4) season record.

The Orange & Green have checked their name off the naughty list.
A big win over Bethune Cookman University has put an extra ribbon on year 1 for head coach LeDawn Gibson. Just last week they fought hard against the number 16 team in the land--Pittsburgh. FAMU's current record is (4-6).

The fire has been started at Valdosta State as Kiley Hill has his ladies in holiday form including an overtime victory Tuesday night against Albany State.

And while the TCC Lady Eagles have no shot at unwrapping a championship present, the ladies are still battling hard despite the 1-year probation. In fact, Coach Theresa Atkinson's squad is back on the court Monday in Gainesville for a 2-day tournament. The Lady Eagles are (6-7) .

So as you can tell, all these ladies want for Christmas are a few wins and a Ho-Ho-Whole lot of Game.
