The FSU women's basketball team has jumped of to a dominant start in the ACC. But that fast start can be attributed to the knowledge and insight FSU head coach Sue Semrau has gained by competing in arguably the toughest conference in womens hoops. A conference that lost an icon over the weekend in NC State Hall of Fame coach Kay Yow.

FSU Head Coach Sue Semrau says:
"I had the priviledge of visiting her about a week before she died... the dignity... They're throwing a party for her up in Heaven..."

Her legacy was not lost on the ACC world as this year's version of the Lady Noles plan on taking on the role as the conference leader and becoming the team to beat.

But in order for that to happen, the (5-0) lady noles must continue beating a tough slate of ACC opponents.
