The summer camp season has once again flooded us with tons of great stories as local youth get the chance to pick up extra skills. It's quite evident that at Leon high, talent is ever-present... The proof is in the form of the Lady Lion's Volleyball team.

Their latest story is this week's She's Got Game.

Lions are known for their killer instincts... This past season, the Leon Lions volleyball team killed the competition... In a year where they won 28 matches, Leon High went most of the regular season without losing a single set. They only lost 3 matches all year long which includes their State Semifinals loss down in Lakeland, Florida. But that's their resume, those are their qualifications... This week marked their community involvement-- a weeklong volleyball camp for the next generation.

Leon Head Volleyball Coach Joy Becker says:
"Florida is really a volleyball state and kids are getting younger and younger... We have some 8 year-olds."

Young volleyball enthusiasts picked up a few tips on serving, killing, and digging with teh Big Bend's most dominant team.

It's the 13 Summer for Coach Becker, but the rewarding part for her seems to come from her assistants-- current Lady Lions that have learned the "Joy" of giving back.

Leon Senior Player and Camp Instructor Caldwell Nystrom says:
"Been coached all my life... Never felt how it is to tell someone something and they get it right."

Becker says
"You can learn a lot from teaching somebody else."
