If you took a look at Courtney Ward's resume as a Florida State Seminole, it wouldn't be a quick read.

Since her freshman year, Ward has stepped onto the court with confidence. She has played in every game since the 2008-2009 season, has a career high of 29 points in a game, was named second team All ACC her junior year, and named to the preseason All ACC team before the start of this season.

Now on top of all of that, The senior from Montgomery, Alabama, has joined an elite group of Seminoles and become the 24th player to pass the 1000 career point mark...something Ward takes to quite humbly.

"It's a great accomplishment, but its nothing I really worry about." says the senior point guard.

Number 12 rang in over 1000 during the Seminoles victory against Missouri scoring a total of 14 points during the game.

But even though Courtney's name will forever sit with 23 other Seminoles, the season at hand is the only thing on this point guard's mind.

"I just want to go out and be the best senior leader and captain for my teammates." adds Ward.
