Like any competitive sport, the volleyball court hold dreams and apparations for those who play on it.

"Im the perfect example of how volleyball can help you get the next level as a human being. I can from a lower income family and we didnt have the money to allow me to play club volleyball or anything like that."

But thanks to her coach's help, Rita felt the ripple effect that came with his support. First a college scholarship, than national recognition, a silver olympic metal, and now her own Volleyball club where she's paying it forward and helping un and coming volleyball stars like 15 year old Haley Kole.

" I started club when I was 11 and I played on the 13's team."

Schools like Northwestern, Wake Forest, and the University of California Berkeley are already showing interest in Haley thanks to Rita and the exposure club volleyball has given her.

"I think club is a big deal, and if you want to get recruited and go somethere thats where colleges look at you."

Haley's background story may not be the exact same as Rita's, but it shows no matter who you are or where you come from, any dream is possible

"I just thank everyday that my coach helped me get to this point So I can help all the kids who Im able to help now."
