"Yes Senior year, go big or go home you know..."

The past three season for Florida State's Sarah Hamilton have been impressive. Last year she pitched in 45 games, sixth most all time at FSU. Now with her senior year kicking off, Sarah's working even harder to be a bigger presence on the mound.

"I think everyone knows that I'm a big off speed pitcher, so I'm really working on my hard stuff. Working on the plate, off the plate, working the mound a little bit better, walks, those type of things." says Sarah Hamilton.

and her constant practicing is helping her continue to stay one step ahead of her competition.

"Everything is getting better and better. Everyone has better technology, everyone has cameras, everyone can see what you got, but that's one of the fun parts of the game, never settling,always getting better, adjusting your pitches, getting better pitches."

But Sarah's not just about getting better... The Tallahassee native knows her leadership plays two positions... pitcher and role model.

"Being from here it was always a dream of mine to go here, growing up here but for me its showing the kids that go to Chiles since I left that they can be here too and its not our of reach. That's why I enjoyed coming here, so I can send this out to Tallahassee kids."

A message that is heard loud and clear, on and off the field.
