Deanna Mims is truly someone you should know. She is the immediate past-president of BPW: Business & Professional Woman of Tallahassee. She is the creator and host of TEN: Tallahassee Entrepreneur Network where she invites business owners to
connect and share. She just started E2E Connect, an entrepreneur to entrepreneur organization that promotes and rewards the entrepreneurial spirit. And she owns her own company, MarketDone. Her other work includes volunteering for ECHO and serving as co-chair of community service for AAFT.

"People that want to come in and collaborate and make things happen," said Mims, "Really innovative things happening. So it's all my interaction and networking with people and finding the spark in what they are doing and what I know this person is doing and how I can connect them."

But that doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of her efforts to increase business to business communications in the Capital City. Her office on Capital Circle encompasses all of her endeavors and she says her job as a business owner is to give clarity in marketing to non-profits and businesses---giving them the ability to market themselves.

"MarketDone works with small businesses and non-profits to get clarity in marketing and sweat equity. My job is to get them to market themselves."

Mims is a Leon High School grad who says she never went to college but did graduate from the school of hard knocks--she is also very active in putting together the Dandi Awards which honors the spirit of entrepreneurship in the Capital City.
