A lot of young boys are sports fans--many of them spend hours watching and charting every game.
But not every kid makes an I-Phone app to keep up with the times.
Jack Templeton is a huge sports fan--if we're being honest, he's a big Gator fan like his dad. But he's also a sports genius. So while his friends were doing what 10 year old kids do, Jack was creating an app to help quench his thirst for sports.
"When I was like seven, me and my dad went to a ton of football games and I'd always like to know who would play. I couldn't always memorize every single player of every single team," said Jack Templeton, inventor of jacksrosters.com.
"Everybody who looks at the App and uses it loves it. It's probably the most user friendly roster application out there. All 120 teams for 99 cents. You have no competition with the internet because all the information is built into the app. All 13,500 players," said Tim Templeton, proud father of Jack.
What started as an idea is now a full fledged, 99 cent app on your I-Phone. Jack's dad had to manually insert all of the information, but now their hard work is to your benefit.
There's also the roster necklace that they produce as well---so when you are sitting in the stands wondering who number 65 is, you don't have to wonder anymore.
Jacksrosters.com is only for college football now, but if this hits it big which it looks like it will, there's talks about expanding to the NFL and high school football.
