Tallahassee, FL -- November 2, 2011 --

Florida's Vocational Rehab is one of the true unsung heroes in the state. They spend every waking moment trying to help men and women with disabilities try to find a place in the workforce.

One young man is another in a long line of success stories and he has one of the sweetest jobs there is.

It doesn't take long to like Kevin Graham. It's not because he has direct access to some of the best cupcakes in Tallahassee, but his personality and work ethic is infectious--

"He's so sweet, he says good morning, he's very lovely," says Lucy and Leo's Manager Charla Lucas.

"Kevin comes in before he's scheduled and leaves after he's scheduled. And he's here promptly, well, more promptly every single day," says Jean Bates, owner of Lucy and Leo's.

And why wouldn't he be...Kevin works at Lucy and Leo's in Midtown--he's in charge of making the frosting that tops those tasty treats. That he has this job is not as impressive as how he goes about doing it.

"I feel like it's important, it makes him feel good and makes me feel good. You have one more person as a part of the community," says Kevin's counselor Lynn Picolo.

Lynn Picolo is Kevin's vocational rehab counselor--she's been around a lot of special needs men and women in her time, many of whom didn't have Kevin's flair, or his ability to memorize the recipes of every single frosting flavor in the store.

"I make peanut butter, cream cheese, vanilla, chocolate frosting, and mint," says Kevin Graham, "You memorize all the recipes? Yes I do."

Thank you Jean for providing an opportunity to this young man . Germaphobes-you have no idea what goes on in the kitchens of any restaurant-do you fool yourselves into thinking that everyone wears gloves & hairnets? L&L's kitchen is "open" to the public-you can stand there and watch EVERYONE do their jobs. I really think you have nothing to worry about.

Gov does not require gloves, except for the protection on the HANDLER, or in cases of the handler having a condition such as lacerations. Read the FDA Food Codes. Then, get over yourself.
