In the all-time Georgia-Auburn series, the Bulldogs lead 31-9 including victories in the last seven meetings. Auburn's last win in the series dates back to Sept. 17, 2006 in Athens. The UGA-AU contest will be the second of five televised matches for the Bulldogs this season.
In the all-time Georgia-Ole Miss series, the Bulldogs lead 36-11. Last year, the two teams split the season series with Georgia winning 3-1 in Athens but falling 3-0 in Oxford.
The match at Auburn will be Georgia's first road contest since playing at LSU on Sept. 19. The Bulldogs are coming off of a four-match home stand in which they went 2-2 with victories over 20th-ranked Tennessee and Alabama. This week's two matches are the start of a four-match road swing which will also include contests at South Carolina (Oct. 15) and Florida (Oct. 17).
